Update on Norene

I make regular visits to see Norene at Maple Springs.  Often I am there when they take her to physical therapy and go with her to the in-house gym.  They have a variety of exercises they have her do to strengthen her arms and legs.  She always works hard and it shows in her progress!

It's been a few years since all of the Field brothers have been together, but circumstances aligned and Corey and Cameron were both able to be in town at the same time and we coordinated a visit with everyone.

Mountain bike riding with the girls: Smithfield Canyon

My ankle STILL is not 100%.  It's been almost 2 months. I've ventured out a couple of times, but it still feels stiff and swells a little.  So, the girls went mountain biking with me for our Friday outing instead!  We are definitely newbies, but it was fun!

Grateful for these ladies that will ride with me when I can't run.

Crazy kid

It was 90s day at school.....

Also another fantastic dance ask, this time for Senior Ball, involving an appliance.  (yes, they have an appliance guy)

Roman candles in the hands while spinning in a washing machine..... 🙈 Don't try this at home kids.

And this.....this zebra jacket is what he ordered for Senior Ball!

And ended with Spring Fling with Lauralee Olsen.

Awards Banquet

I made a quick trip to Provo for the Department of Art scholarship awards banquet where Katelyn received not one, but two, scholarships for next year!  So proud of her!  and isn't she the cutest! 💗

More track!

Fun weekend watching both Ethan and Carson compete in track.  Ethan in the 5000 and steeple up at USU and Carson in the 300 hurdles at the Grizzly Invite at Logan High School.

Ethan coming up on the barrier

Ethan started having some pain and had to drop out early.  Hopefully it isn't anything serious.

His old high school coach, Kyle Wright, came to watch!

SPRING BREAK!!

We don't always do much for Spring Break, but this year I decided to plan a few activities at least.  Nothing major, but a little fun.

Monday we went and played pickle ball.  Carson has been a few times with friends, but we never have, so he taught us how.  It was fun!  We played a tournament.  Sadly, I lost.  A few of Carson's friends came over at one point and played as well.  We'll definitely have to play that again!

Justin Hunt, Jared Hunt (cousins), and Branson Sharp with Carson

We also spent some time helping Grandpa pack up and clean out things at his house.  He has decided to move into a retirement community, Pioneer Valley Lodge.  It is just 1/2 mile away from our house and a block away from where Grandma is for skilled nursing.  He is unsure about the move, but we're going to give it a try.

Some glasses they found while cleaning

On Thursday we headed out of the valley for some activities.  We stopped at Cabela's first.  The boys entertained themselves with the checkers set while Clint shopped.

This parking sign confused us???  At first we thought it was saying 2 hr, but also 45 min, parking.  Later we finally noticed the little "degree" symbol. 😂  I've never seen a sign for 45 degree parking before!

We went to the Clark Planetarium.  They had some cool displays...interactive, educational, and fun!  We went to a couple of star shows.  They were pretty cool!

Scooters in the driveway is always fun!

We wrapped up the week with General Conference.  Grandpa Field and Sidney Field joined us for conference breakfast Sunday morning.  Sidney is in Logan going to Utah State.
