What did I do?!!

I just signed up for my first marathon!  I said I would NEVER run a marathon, but here we are.  I have been running a lot with Melanie and she convinced me to give it a try.  I figured if I was every going to do one, this would be the year.... so here goes nothing!

Trail running with the girls: Flat Top Mountain

Saturday I hiked/ran flat Top with my Melanie and Becky. It was awesome!

We went up Smithfield Dry Canyon to the saddle, then north to the summit of Flat Top.  Coming back down we headed down the back side which brings you around and out Birch Canyon.  It was BEAUTIFUL!  I love going so early in the mornings....we catch the BEST sunrises!

This time of year, the wildflowers were AMAZING!

The trail is a little overgrown, but the terrain is gorgeous!

It's official!

Friday we went to Pocatello and finalized the purchase of the house!  We are now officially owners of a 2nd home!  Now to get it ready for renters in the fall....

Girls' Camp

This week was girls camp for me.  I left Monday afternoon and was back by Thursday morning.  We went up to Camp Lomia in Logan Canyon.  It was a lot of fun.  Everyone survived while I was gone.  haha

I didn't have to do food, or really anything, for girls camp this year.  Just had to be there.  That was kind of nice.  Janet Duncan made all of our food for us.  I swear I ate better at camp than I do at home! haha
