A little life update

Griffin has been going to a new gym in town called Playgrounz on Tue/Thu.  It was originally going to be for a ninja warrior class, but because he is older they put him in what they call a "performance" class.  It basically just a fitness class, but he loves it and it gets him away from the computer screen, so that's good.  And they've been doing some running.

Piano is also going really well for him.  His teacher, Sister Dransfield, lets him play whatever he wants for his lesson songs, so he has actually been practicing and improving a lot. He especially loves to learn Brian Crane songs, so I purchased and printed off a bunch of his sheet music. He's practicing a really awesome song for his next recital.

Carson had a dual meet on Wednesday and was pumped to get to go to the Grizzly invitational on Saturday for the 3200.  His race at the dual meet was not a PR, but the invitational was another huge PR!  He has gone from an 11:51 at the beginning of the season to an 11:14!  His goal is to go under 11 before the end of the season.  Just three or four weeks left to make it happen, but I think he'll do it!

I went to the dentist this week.  Cavities.  ugh.  Another prom this week and still more coming up!  I didn't get to go to the Wednesday track meet because my employee, Anna, called in sick, but I was able to go on Saturday, so that was awesome!  I have been teaching the Gospel Doctrine Sunday School class in our ward since the end of March (the RS teaching calling was short lived).  It is seriously a scary calling!  It has been going better each week, and better than I thought it would.  Always way more to cover than I have time for, though!

Clint and I went out to dinner with friends Saturday night.  One of his high school/college friends, Rob Garr, has moved to Cache Valley with his family.  He hired on at the hospital, so Clint bumps into him at work occasionally.  We've gone out to dinner with them a couple of times now and it has been enjoyable.

The boys searched for eggs and baskets Sunday morning.  The older they get, the less into it the seem.  They basically just wandered around outside until they found them all.  haha.

Later we went to Grandma and Grandpa Daniels' for Easter dinner.  It was nice to visit with everyone that could be there.  Scott left that morning to start his job in Georgia, but Jenn and the kids were there and will stay until June before they head out.
