Pioneer Day

For Pioneer Day our city always has a great parade and activities in the park afterward.  Carson decided to run a hot dog stand at the city celebration in the park.  He did all the planning, got his food handlers permit, went with me to purchase the food, prepped everything, and got it all set up with minimal help from me.  He gave us all jobs to do during the operational hours.  Clint helped with the grilling.  Carson helped with that and filling the orders.  Griffin and I took the orders and the money.  It was not as profitable as Carson had hoped, but on the bright side, he's not broke any more. haha  There were a TON of food vendors there this year.  No monopoly = less money.  It was still a good experience for him.

That night we ended up inviting a bunch of families from our new(ish) ward over to watch the city fireworks from our backyard.  We have the perfect view.  They stayed after for a while playing volleyball and chatting.  It was super fun!
