The week before the eclipse I realized I had 4 extra eclipse glasses and that it would be fun to send them to Ethan! I quickly stuck them in the mail, gave him a heads up they were coming, and hoped they would get to him on time.....his mail has to go to the mission office first, then it gets forwarded to him, so I didn't know how long that would take.
Monday of the eclipse, p-day, I got an email with this photo!
The Monday mail, with the glasses in it, had arrived LITERALLY minutes before the peak of the eclipse! I was super happy! Even though they didn't have a total eclipse, it was still fun for them to get to look at it.
