Week 1 of the new year

On Tuesday we binge watched the last of the star wars movies (we started watching them the few days before Katelyn left for Texas).  We wanted Katelyn to watch them all so we could take her to see the newest one before the break was over.  We also went ice skating on Tuesday for my young women's activity and I just took the kids along.  It was fun.

Wednesday it was back to business as usual.....the boys were back in school.  I had a long to do list and got through most of it on Tuesday and Thursday.  Very productive.
Clint, Carson, and Katelyn went down to Provo on Saturday.  Katelyn to head back to school and Carson to run at the BYU indoor meet.  His times were decent.

Griffin had his first basketball game on Saturday as well, so he and I went to that and he did great! (the action shots are blurry, but it's all I've got so they're getting posted anyway)

They got to play in the new Green Canyon High School basketball gym, so that was cool!

Katelyn and Griffin built a huge blanket fort before she had to go back to Provo.  She is the funnest sister!

With the start of the new year we now have church at 8 am.  Sunday mornings are a little rough.  Griffin has to be to the church by 7am  to help set up chairs.  No more sleeping in! + it was fast Sunday so he had to stay late and do fast offerings.  There was a little grumbling, but in the end he did it all with a good attitude.
We studied Moses 1 in Sunday School.  I was struck again by how awesome it is that we are literal children of God and that he knows us and loves us.  Also by how real Satan is and how hard he is working to make us miserable.  Got to keep fighting the good fight!
