Carson's big adventure!

Carson, with his usual persuasiveness, came to us with the idea of him and a group of friends going on a trip to Banff National Park in Canada.  After he was able to assuage some of our concerns about the trip, the planning moved forward in full force!  With not much time until they departed, he immediately applied for a passport and we crossed our fingers that it would arrive in time.....

....but it did not, so we sent him off with his birth certificate and a letter signed by us (since he was still a minor) saying that we gave him permission to leave the country and crossed our fingers that it would work!

He headed out of Logan with his friends, Ethan Fullmer, Isaac Olsen, Emily Francis, Sid Hoopes, and Moriah Clements in Sid's minivan.

On their way up to Canada, they stopped for a night at Emily and Michael Deakin's house in Montana.  So nice of her to put them up for the night.  Just one picture from that stop....a goat got into the van and they had to wrangle it back out haha.

Luckily, they let him in to Canada (and back into the states) when he got to the border.  The trip looked like so much fun and, wow, the scenery was amazing.  Here's a few photos....
