Girl's camp is always one of the best parts of the summer! We had Stake Camp this year at Heber Valley Camp.
Gathered at the church nice and early and loaded the buses to head to camp!
Deon Heaps was our camp director and Nicole Chadwick, Sara Stoker, Pierco Cockerham, and I were the YW leaders that attended. A great bunch of ladies! Tara Heap was helping with the stake so we got to see her occasionally, and Bishop Larsen was there for part of the time which was so fun because his three oldest daughters were all in YW this year!
The cabins at Heber Valley are really nice. They are a favorite place to hang out and play games when we have down time.
The focus on Christ is always an important part of camp. The stake did a fantastic job with the theme and we had a lovely testimony meeting around the fire.
One afternoon we went hiking. I was in charge and picked a route I thought everyone could enjoy. The group did well and we made it pretty fun by sticking together and singing lots of songs!
Lake time is always fun! Our cute girls all ended up making a train together. Love them so much!
More free time activities.
At Stake Camp we always have a lipsync contest and our ward had THE BEST performance this year! We performed to "Get Back Up Again" from the movie Trolls sung by Princess Poppy. It's such a fun song and Deon created the cutest choreography! And she made the wigs! Loved it!
