We know some pretty awesome athletes!

The NCAA West Regional meet was held in Sacramento.  The stadium is IN Ethan's current area!  So crazy.  He could actually hear the track meet announcers while he was out and about.

His really good friend, Conner Mantz, runs for BYU and was competing at the meet.  He is one year older than Ethan and just got back from his mission this past summer.  His parents, Rob and Joanna, went to Sacramento to watch and didn't bump into Ethan, but did bump into one of his MTC companions and asked if he knew Ethan.  They took and sent this picture to Ethan....

Conner did SO WELL!  He qualified for Nationals in the 10k!  Not only did he do well, but two other Sky View athletes that are now at BYU also qualified for Nationals!  How cool is that!?

Brenna Porter, daughter of a friend....she graduated a couple of years before Katelyn.

and Brenna and Lauren Rawlins (far right) qualified with their relay team!  Lauren graduated the year after Katelyn.

Such a great bunch of kids!
